Job requirements

About the role

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and assess open source (surface-web) information and events using advanced techniques and proprietary systems to contribute to a 24/7 tactical intelligence picture as directed by business stakeholders.

  • Identify events likely to impact the physical security of the Company’s people and assets, whilst factoring in reputational risks.

  • Become a regional expert in open-source analytical collection and dissemination techniques.

  • Support travel security by conducting timely threat assessments.

  • Conduct risk assessments and prepare and deliver reports on findings.

  • Build solid and reliable relationships with stakeholders and enhance pre-existing relationships with cross-functional partners within the business.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

  • Strong analytical skills with a fast-paced critical-thinking ability.

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Exemplary written and oral communication

  • Confidence in dealing directly with senior management

  • Team player with a pro-active approach to independent workflows

  • Able to receive direct feedback and respond effectively

  • Excellent interpersonal and soft skills

  • Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize timesensitive issues

  • Highly proficient in using IT

  • Knowledge and experience of working with the intelligence cycle

  • Sustained exposure and familiarity with classical intelligence processes and methodologies are preferred.

  • Open-Source Intelligence and research experience essential.

  • Work and/or study experience across the region is desirable.

  • Fluency in German and English are essential

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (preferably Political Science, International Relations, International Security or cultural/social/regional studies) OR 3 years equivalent verifiable and demonstrable experience.

  • Further certification in a related field is desirable.
